About the Artist
I began my career as a stained glass professional in 1980. In 1987 I set up a supply store and began teaching classes in stained glass at an Air Force Base Skills Development Center. Since then I have continued to teach at various Air Force Skills centers to include bases in South Carolina, Japan, and Illinois, where I am currently. I have won awards at local arts contests. To date I’ve done 3 churches with abstract designed windows. I’ve drawn up my own patterns working with the architect of the projects. My custom work encompasses kaleidoscopes, boxes, small panels, cabinet doors, windows, and doors. I regularly attend Stained Glass conventions and advanced classes to further my own skills and keep current on trends.
